Boys don't know what they want. Guys can't make up their mind. But men know what they want.

:-)

What about men who are the the servants of the One True Living God... what do THEY want?

"For the wicked boasteth of his heart's desire, and blesseth the covetous, [whom] the LORD abhorreth."
-Psalm 10:3

When a man's heart is right with God, his desires will be in accordance with God's will.

"Folly [is] joy to [him that is] destitute of wisdom: but a man of understanding walketh uprightly. "
-Proverbs 15:21

Good post, but the context of my original post was in context of dating, marriage relationships. Hopefully every man of God would want to serve God. :-)

I quit, forget I even posted the topic.

AnnieHere:

This is the General Talk forum. If this thread is not to your liking please move on to another.

Thanks.

Regardless of the forum topic. Shouldn't it conform to the standards of the Word of God?

As a moderator of a Christian forum, shouldn't you be responsible for holding posters accountable to this standard?

"Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God. "
1 Cor. 10:31

Perhaps the solution would be to get a mens room here. Men don't seem to take as much offense to topics such as these. Nothing I have said that was seriously offensive. Farting is a bodily function just like anything else. I would say it's neither "holy or unholy". To some it might be innapropriate, to others it might not. I have started many other silly topics here that may not necessarily be holy, but they aren't unholy either. Asking if people prefer Coke or Pepsi is not talking about God, but it in no way is offensive towards God either. No one complains about that. How can talking about sodas be more holy than farts? Neither are talking about God.

Personally, I think people need to learn to lighten up. So often, we get to full of ourselves we forget how to have a good time. This is a "general" forum. If people want to read serious topics only, there are plenty of other forums that exist at the forums.

I certainly do not intend to offend people and I do not believe I have. If the moderators feel that some of my topics are not appropriate for these forums, I ask that they PM me about it and I will gladly refrain from posting any such threads in the future. I am honestly just trying to create a little fun around here. I am not here to spam or to bring harm to anyone.

I've been trying to get a men's room Dave, and I think one is in the works.

i am a woman and i don't take offense at this thread, a but of fun is a bit of fun, as long as it doesn't hurt anyone or isn't crass or cruel... i see no harm in it...

anniehere; i don't believe the OP was doing anything harmful or degrading... i don't think God would be upset with someone having some fun that was not at anyone's expense :)

MODERATOR COMMENT:

Anniehere; Please refrain from questioning moderator decisions in the public forum, a PM would be more suited to this, or notifying admin.

I also believe there is a mens room in the making, it just takes time to organize these things... soon enough there will be place for mens only stuff... but still, i see no harm in this thread as and where it is.

Rubbish!
We all know that Coke is the only way to the Father!
