I need prayers for direction. I need Yah to lend me some direction: where I need to go next, what I need to do next, what I should read next, what I should meditate on next.
Perhaps I need prayers for motivation. I'm not using the potential or resources that God has bestowed. There's quite a few books I have that I want to read, and many things I want to learn, and perhaps I am overwhelmed.
Perhaps then I do know what's next, or I just can't decide.
Bottom line is I want to glorify God in what I do. I want Yeshua to throw a truckload of gas on the fire because I want God to be glorified by a lift of my pinky for it is by his pinky he has created me.
Dear Brother YosefHayim, I believe your very desire to glorify God shows the love you have for Him. What are we to do? I suggest 2 Pet 3:18 But grow in grace, and
in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him
be glory both now and for ever. Amen.
I have read of those that left families at home to go to mission work completely unprepared. In other words they sent themselves instead of God doing it. Maybe they were given gifts different than what they wanted, and just weren’t content to settle for that. I’m fairly certain that once we’re obedient to that we’re given, God trusts us with more.
There’s an old cliché that says “Don’t put the cart ahead of the horse”, and that can whip many a good servant of the Lord. Below is scripture showing the very nature of running before you have the message God wants to prepare you with. Ahimaaz below wanted to run with a message for the king before he even knew what the message was. We are God’s work in progress and when He is ready for the work He has prepared us for, it is Him that will open doors and make ready the path He wants us to walk.
2 Sam 18:19 Then said Ahimaaz the son of Zadok,
Let me now run, and bear the king tidings, how that the LORD hath avenged him of his enemies.
2 Sam 18:20 And Joab said unto him, Thou shalt not bear tidings this day, but thou shalt bear tidings another day: but this day thou shalt bear no tidings, because the king's son is dead.
2 Sa 18:21 Then said Joab to Cushi, Go tell the king what thou hast seen. And Cushi bowed himself unto Joab, and ran.
2 Sam 18:22 Then said Ahimaaz the son of Zadok yet again to Joab, But howsoever, let me, I pray thee, also run after Cushi. And
Joab said, Wherefore wilt thou run, my son, seeing that thou hast no tidings ready?
2 Sam 18:23 But howsoever,
said he, let me run. And he said unto him, Run. Then Ahimaaz ran by the way of the plain, and overran Cushi.
2 Sam 18:24 And David sat between the two gates: and the watchman went up to the roof over the gate unto the wall, and lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold a man running alone.
2 Sam 18:25 And the watchman cried, and told the king. And the king said, If he
be alone,
there is tidings in his mouth. And he came apace, and drew near.
2 Sam 18:26 And the watchman saw another man running: and the watchman called unto the porter, and said, Behold
another man running alone. And the king said, He also bringeth tidings.
2 Sam 18:27 And the watchman said, Me thinketh the running of the foremost is like the running of Ahimaaz the son of Zadok. And the king said, He
is a good man, and cometh with good tidings.

be the LORD thy God, which hath delivered up the men that lifted up their hand against my lord the king.
2 Sam 18:29 And the king said, Is the young man Absalom safe? And Ahimaaz answered, When Joab sent the king's servant, and
me thy servant,
I saw a great tumult, but I knew not what it was.
2 Sam 18:30 And the king said
unto him, Turn aside,
and stand here. And he turned aside, and stood still.
2 Sam 18:31 And, behold, Cushi came; and Cushi said, Tidings, my lord the king: for the LORD hath avenged thee this day of all them that rose up against thee.
2 Sam 18:32 And the king said unto Cushi, Is the young man Absalom safe? And Cushi answered, The enemies of my lord the king, and all that rise against thee to do
thee hurt, be as
that young man
is.
