The thread yesterday was on no more thirst.

Today, it is light, because without light and water, nothing can grow.





God saw the light that it was good, and divided the light from the darkness.





Genesis 1:4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.



God will save the afflicted people, but will bring down high looks. God will light our candle, God will enlighten our darkness.


Psalm 18:25 With the merciful thou wilt shew thyself merciful; with an upright man thou wilt shew thyself upright;
26 With the pure thou wilt shew thyself pure; and with the froward thou wilt shew thyself froward.
27 For thou wilt save the afflicted people; but wilt bring down high looks.
28 For thou wilt light my candle: the Lord my God will enlighten my darkness.



God tells us to defend the poor and fatherless, doing justice to the afflicted and needy, deliver the poor and needy from the wicked, who know not, they do not understand, they walk on in darkness.

Unto the upright there arises light in the darkness, being gracious, full of compassion and righteous, a good man shows favour, he will guide his affairs with discretion.




Psalm 82:3 Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy.
4 Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked.
5 They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course.

Psalm 112:4 Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.
5 A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion.




To receive the instruction of wisdom, justice judgement and equity, to give subtilty to the simple, to the young man knowledge and discretion.

When wisdom enters into your heart, and knowledge is pleasant to your soul, discretion shall preserve you, understanding keeps you, to delver you from the evil man who speaks forwardly, who leave the paths of uprightness, to walk in the ways of darkness, rejoicing to do evil, delighting in the forwardness of the wicked, crooked ways they forward in their path.




Proverbs 1:3 To receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, and judgment, and equity;
4 To give subtilty to the simple, to the young man knowledge and discretion.

Proverbs 2:10 When wisdom entereth into thine heart, and knowledge is pleasant unto thy soul;
11 Discretion shall preserve thee, understanding shall keep thee:
12 To deliver thee from the way of the evil man, from the man that speaketh froward things;
13 Who leave the paths of uprightness, to walk in the ways of darkness;
14 Who rejoice to do evil, and delight in the frowardness of the wicked;
15 Whose ways are crooked, and they froward in their paths:


The Lord by wisdom founded the earth, by understanding He established the heavens.

Let them not depart from our eyes, keep sound wisdom and discretion, they shall be life unto our soul,grace unto our neck, we shall walk n our way safely, our foot shall not stumble.

The way of the wicked is as darkness, they do not know what they stumble at.

Attend unto His wisdom, bow our ear unto His understanding, to regard discretion, for our lips to keep knowledge.





Proverbs 3:19 The Lord by wisdom hath founded the earth; by understanding hath he established the heavens.
20 By his knowledge the depths are broken up, and the clouds drop down the dew.
21 My son, let not them depart from thine eyes: keep sound wisdom and discretion:
22 So shall they be life unto thy soul, and grace to thy neck.
23 Then shalt thou walk in thy way safely, and thy foot shall not stumble.

Proverbs 4:19 The way of the wicked is as darkness: they know not at what they stumble.

Proverbs 5:My son, attend unto my wisdom, and bow thine ear to my understanding:
2 That thou mayest regard discretion, and that thy lips may keep knowledge.






Our light is come, the glory of the Lord is risen upon us. Darkness shall cover the earth, gross darkness on the people, and the Gentiles shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of His rising.

To give beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, to be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He might be glorified.




Isaiah 60:1 Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.
2 For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.
3 And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.

Isaiah 61:3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified.




Hear, give ear, be not proud, the Lord has spoken, give glory unto the Lord your God, before He causes darkness, before your feet stumble, upon the dark mountains, and while you look for light He turns it into the shadow of death, and make it gross darkness.

The gods that have not made the heaven and the earth, they shall perish from the earth and from under heaven.

God has made the earth by His power, He has established the world by His wisdom, and stretched out the heavens by His discretion.

He will raise us up a plant of renown, to be no more consumed with hunger.



Jeremiah 13:15 Hear ye, and give ear; be not proud: for the Lord hath spoken.
16 Give glory to the Lord your God, before he cause darkness, and before your feet stumble upon the dark mountains, and, while ye look for light, he turn it into the shadow of death, and make it gross darkness.

Jeremiah 10:11 Thus shall ye say unto them, The gods that have not made the heavens and the earth, even they shall perish from the earth, and from under these heavens.
12 He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heavens by his discretion.


Ezekiel 34:29 And I will raise up for them a plant of renown, and they shall be no more consumed with hunger in the land, neither bear the shame of the heathen any more.

Giving knowledge of salvation by the remission of our sins, through the tender mercy of our God, the dayspring from on high has visited us, to give light to them that sit in darkness, and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet unto the way of peace.



Luke 1:77 To give knowledge of salvation unto his people by the remission of their sins,
78 Through the tender mercy of our God; whereby the dayspring from on high hath visited us,
79 To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.




In Him was life and the life was the light of men. The light shined in darkness, the darkness understood not.

Light is come into the world, men loved darkness, rather than light, their deeds were evil.

Everyone who does evil, hates the light, and does not come to the light, to be reproved.

he that does truly comes to the light, for their deeds to be made manifest that they are made in God.




John 1:4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

John 3:19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.



Jesus spoke to them, that He is the light of the world, and they who follow Him shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

A little while the light was with them, and to walk while they had the light, unless darkness comes upon them, for they who walk in darkness do not know where they are going.

Jesus was come a light into the world, that whosoever believes in Him should not be in darkness.

While they had light, to believe in the light to be the children of light, then hid Himself from them.

If any man walks in the day he stumbles not, because he sees the light of this world.

But if a man walks in the night h stumbles, because there is no light in him.



John 8:12Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

The sun turned into darkness, before the great and notable day of the Lord, and it came to pass that whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Apostle Paul delivered from the people and from the Gentiles, to whom Christ our Lord sent him, to open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, from the power of satan to God, to receive forgiveness of sins and inheritance among those ho are sanctified by faith that is in Christ.



Acts 2:20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and notable day of the Lord come:
21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Acts 26:17 Delivering thee from the people, and from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee,
18 To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.

To them in patience continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour, eternal life, unto them that are contentious not obeying the truth, obeying unrighteousness, indignation and wrath, tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that does evil, glory honour and peace to every man that works good.


It is now high time to awake out of sleep, the night is far spend, the day is at hand, cast off the works of darkness, put on the armour of light, walk honestly as in the day, not in rioting chambering, strife and envy, out on the Lord Jesus Christ, making no provision to the flesh to fulfil its lusts.




Romans 2:7 To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:
8 But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,
9 Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;
10 But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:


Romans 12:11 And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.
12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.
13 Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.
14 But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.





God commanded the light to shine out of darkness, shined in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

The Father has made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light, who delivered us from the power of darkness, and translated us into the Kingdom of His dear Son.



2 Corinthians 4:6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

Colossians 1:12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:
13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:




Let no man deceive you with vain words, because of those things the wrath of God comes upon the children of disobedience. Be not partakers with them.

We were darkness, but now light in the Lord, walk as children of light, in the fruit of the Spirit in all goodness and righteousness and truth. Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.

have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, reprove them.

We are not in darkness that, that day should overtake us as a thief. We are children of light, and children of the day, not of the night or of darkness.

Therefore let us not sleep as others, but let us watch and be sober. hey who sleep sleep in the night, drunken in the night.

Let us who are of the day be sober putting on the breastplate of faith, and love, for an helmet the helmet of salvation, for God has not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation in our Lord Jesus Christ.

8 For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:

11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.

1 Thessalonians 5:4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.
5 Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.
6 Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.
7 For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.
8 But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.
9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,




A stone of stumbling,, even to them that stumble at the Word, being disobedient, whereunto also they were appointed.

But we are a chosen generation, a priesthood and holy nation, a peculiar people to show forth the praise of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvellous light.



1 Peter 2:8 And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.

1 Peter 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;




This then is the message which was heard of Him, declared unto us, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him and walk in darkness we lie, and do not the truth. But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ HIs Son, cleanses us from all sin.





1 John 1:5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

1 John 1:6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:

1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.




A new commandment is written to us, which is true in Him and in us, because the darkness is past, and the true light now shines.

if we say we are in the light and hate our brother, we are in darkness until now. He that loves his brother abides in the light, there is no occasion of stumbling in him.

He that hates his brother is in darkness and walks in darkness, and does not know where he goes, because darkness has blinded his eyes.






1 John 2:8 Again, a new commandment I write unto you, which thing is true in him and in you: because the darkness is past, and the true light now shineth.

1 John 2:9 He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now.
10 He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him.
