Do Animals Go To Heaven ?

I have to say this is a very interesting discussion and I appreciate all the scripture quotes.
My inquiry was related to the fact there are creatures in heaven with God now that are not angels or were humans. I did not think of them as flesh but their descriptions are what we think of as animals. I don't know what other category to put them into. Perhaps there is one and I am not aware of what they would be classified as.

If I missed anything someone said, forgive me, I am ill today.

I sure wish it were true ! Our dog Babe died 3 years ago the day after thanksgiving. And I am still
crying over her.....
There will be animals in heaven. But not our beloved pets. They have no soul , period ..............

They have a soul because they have a personality because they act different from each other they have feelings. What they lack or were denied by God is a spirit.
