Do Not Be Anxious

Perhaps one of the more challenging aspects of being a Christian is developing a faith in the Lord. The Lord wants us to trust him:

[24] "No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.
[25] "Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you shall eat or what you shall drink, nor about your body, what you shall put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?
[26] Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?†Matt 6:24-26 RSV

The point being, we should not choose sin and the worship of other gods to take care of ourselves when our well being is threatened, but rather continue to do right and trust God to provide. It is indeed a very big challenge to the Christian.
