Do women want a Romeo and Juliet kind of guy?

I have always assumed women want someone more along the lines of John Candy.

Maybe just a Romeo...I think a Juliet kind of guy would be a little weird...

Ummmm.....no

:D

That question reminds me of my sister at 15. I would say the answer is more often yes than no. She cried for a week over the silly movie. :P

I want a "Noah in the notebook" kind of guy :) haha...jk

I know that expectation is rediculous :lol

I think that women tend to want a guy that busts on them and teases them. They don't want a sensitive guy right away. They want a badboy that they can turn into a sensitive guy. Actually i feel that women don't always know what they want and just like most men treat women like a sex object many women treat men like a special project. If a woman can't love a man for who he is then she shouldn't be with him. They don't want someone who is a nice guy and it explains the saying nice guys finish last.

Romeo and Juliet was classic teenage infatuation. One night together and then kill themselves.

It's not love.

I think most girls like the idea of having a guy obsessedly in love with them, but it can get pretty old once they threaten to nail your puppy to the door if they ever see you with another guy.

Obsession is not real love. It's like infatuation. It fades. Unless it has a chance to grow into something deeper. I was infatuated with a guy once for over 15 years. When I finally got the chance to take it somewhere, we'd changed too much. Walking away was one of the hardest things I have ever done. But love has to have a solid foundation to flower into something really strong and lasting.

I'd like a guy with a mix of manliness and romanticism. I don't want a crybaby, nor do I want someone really distant. Happy mediums everyone!

Romeo? Of course not!

Mr. Darcy.

Agreed

I've never really found Romeo and Juliet a romantic story, tragic and sad mixed with infatuation and impulsive decisions but never anything that made me want a Romeo in my life. I don't even know if I can pick a type of man that i'd like in my life, i'll find out when we cross paths.

A Romeo guy... so like dead and/or impulsively suicidal? I'm pretty sure most women don't find that attractive. ;)
