If you delete your Facebook account, they will start by suspending it, so nobody can see it. Then they give you a certain amount of time in which you can change your mind (not sure how long it is). If you haven't logged in after that time, then it is permanently deleted.

I'm guessing that you born today. If a 1000 years is as a day unto the Lord, then we have 1000 years / 24 hours for a day say...that gives us 41.66 years is one hour to the Lord. So if you're 42, then your still only two hours old, lol. Eternity is a long time and I guess we are all just babes.
