Do you know Jesus or do you hope he exists?

I'm curious about people's faith. I had almost a "road to Damascus" conversion. But I have talked to many people who can't remember when they received the Holy Spirit. So I would really like to know if people think they know Christ or only hope he exists. :)

He exists. :-D

You didn't answer my question: Do you know him personally or do you simply hope he exists? Thank you. :)

I answered it quite clearly. I personally know he exists. No hope about it. Yes I know him.

Heidi, Heidi, Heidi,

You will find few, if any, that 'claim' to be Christians that will answer this with anything other than that they 'know' Him. And anyone that questions His existence is CERTAINLY NOT a Christian. Impossible to question His existence and at the same time, allow Him into your heart.

Now, the REAL question, how many out there claim to 'know' Christ, but have NEVER even met Him? Answer that one and then we will have a basis to seperate Christians from those that 'just talk about it'.

Yes, I am having a persoanal experience with Jesus Christ and I feel experiencing God through Jesus Christ enables the mind to arrive gracefully at the source of thought, the pure consciousness of God where everything is united and one. This spiritual advancement cleanses the mind and directs it again to God the Father who is beyond all thought. Christ’s love of God leads us to the practice of purifying our minds and to the subtle states of Christ consciousness where the ultimate state of unity and harmony are experienced. This Reality has a profound influence on the individual and the world because it produces harmony, happiness and the environment for the individual to grow in the understanding of God, Jesus and who one really is. As we come to know the nature of God, His unity and Reality we also know more of our own true being as His reflection.

Sorry, but I have met many honest people in bible study and at church who have told me they don't know if they've met him. I can tell you one thing; they have more hope of knowing him than those who don't question it because they're honest enough to admit they're unsure and care enough about their souls to seek Him. After all, Jesus says there will be many who call him Lord who will not enter the kingdom of heaven. And they are among people who call themselves Christians. ;-)

I agree 100 percent with what you have offered. I only point out that there are also MANY people that 'call' themselves Christians that are simply 'playing the game'.

Just as you stated, there will be many that use His name and His answer to them will be that He doesn't even know them. These are those that profess that which 'isn't' true. Those that choose to follow with their 'lips' instead of their 'hearts'.

I remember the day, the month, the year, that I was born again; and where I was before, during, and after.
