We will NEVER be able to become self sufficient on oil. It is nto a possibility, not a reality, nothing. analogy.

Oil is like cigarettes. We all foudn out how amazing oil is, and decied we needed it. But after a whiel, we realized its really screwing us over. We are dependent on the oil, we need it every day, and refuse to change. Sure, i could invest a little in that nicorete gum, or one of those patches, and maybe i wont need the oil anymore. But no, its not worth it, instead, lets find more tobacco so we can make cigarettes more readily available.

And the word of the LORD says that the Earth and all animals has been given to man to do with as he wishes.. Thus there is nothing wrong
with exterminating animals, they have no souls anyways so why care about them?, or drilling oil anywhere really.

You need to pray for a heart that respects God's creations.

In Revelation 5:8-13 all creatures recognize Jesus as the Savior of the world and praise God right along with redeemed men.

In Psalm Psalm 145:-9-10,13,15-21 God loves all His creation and has made plans for all His children and the lesser creatures to enjoy His eternal Kingdom.

Romans 8:19 says that the lesser creatures await Christ's return to redeem the sons of God so they, too, will be released from physical death to eternal life.

Romans 8:21-22 says "Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now"

I sure hope the kind of "rule" you imply that we should take towards animals is not the same kind that God "rules" us over.....

No my friend, we are "created in the image of the Most Merciful God" which means we should have respect and mercy to the animals of this world.

Until you learn this you are in a dark place.....

If you cannot enjoy nature and the fruits of God's own hand you have not experienced what the Holy Spirit is all about....

If you cannot imagine the Perfect splendor of the original garden of Eden and what that "rule" meant than you are being decieved by the Dark Side...

I guess the problem is always interpretation.....

Thats why we have 1 million different views.....

I just think that living in a beautiful earth free from pollution and rampant materialism would be what God wants from us....

And to respect the amazing animals and diversity on this planet.

Think of your children man, what kind of world do you want them to live in?

A world of machines and advertisements, a brainwashing of buy this buy that which ends only in unhappiness.

True freedom is being in the mountains alone with the Holy Spirit planning out the good things that you are to share with others....

At least thats my view.

he is, and the word of the LORD is the absolute Law.
Where everyone lives in fear of the LORD by all his commands as put forth in the Scripture. Machines, healtcare, in truth ALL modern things are an abomination to the LORD.

Read Proverbs 3:5 , ALL those evils rely on that humans, in their arrogance, trusting their own intellect and evil technology instead of putting their faith in the LORD!

And the computer is an evil I think the LORD can allow for now since we can spread the word of the LORD through it!

And as for Mammon, or money in general.
"No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money." (Matthew 6:24)
^ In older versions of the LORD's word, this usually reads "You cannot serve both God and Mammon."

Thank you for explaining that a little more clearly for me. I agree that any other worshipped diety or "god" is a demon at best.
 
Also, if you don't mind me asking. What denomination church do you attend Lekazar? I'm interested in knowing a little more about your beliefs, if you don't mind sharing them.
