I really am sorry guys btw, I got a lot going on right now and I really didn't want to hear another one of Ezra's lectures because I have far too much to do at the moment.

John Wayne is a huge star on the eyes of the older generation. He will always be considered one of the greats! In modern days, there are 50 kabillion channels and an endless supply of entertainment from video on demand to unlimited youtube videos. verIt's very, very hard to climb to the top like the greats of yesterday, like John Wayne.
Here's the deal, and the point I think.... Ezra was making. There was a lot of drinking, gambling, shooting swearing and killing in John Wayne movies. He isnt what one would call your model Christian.

Truth be told I don't know any John Wayne movies. I just know that Ezra tends to blow things WAY out of proportion. I think he thinks that anything that doesn't have to with God or the Bible is sinful and therefore he tends to tell me how I should live my life and I've lost count of how many times he's told me that I should attend church regularly even though that is none of his business to begin with. So yeah, again, I apologize for misunderstanding him but so far that's what every other thread that he's posted in that I've also been a part of has been about and I really just didn't want to hear it anymore.

heres the real deal you gott most of it right.. Christians tend to tweek out on Halloween and many times hunting eater eggs . you can dress up a child for Halloween let the get candy have a night of fun and never celebrate Halloween . we have no issue watching John wayne or any other western with the above events going on. but by George let Halloween come up and the religious cops come out in full force .. children are innocent let them stay that way . by all means let them kids have fun .maybe your church or a local church can host something for kids in a safe environment .far to many freak and pedophiles to let a kid go from house to house
