“He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?” (Romans 8:32) NKJ
This is a belief that suckers almost everyone. Do you become seriously down when your job is in jeopardy or your sales drop? I know I do that. I feel like a good person when I have money to spend, but when I don’t have it I feel like a loser. Why? That is REDICULOUS!!!!
Society teaches us that we should tie our worth to the amount of money we have. If you see someone that is rich and famous, do you not think that they have more worth in society than someone that is poor? How do you feel about someone that is an ex-convict or very poor? Do you look down on them and feel you are better than them?
What about people that have a big house or a nice car? Do you respect them? How about this, do you feel people won’t respect you if you don’t have money? How worthless do you feel when you don’t have money? Society is very bad about tying our worth to money.
It is a complete lie!!!
Christians should not tie their worth to the amount of money they make. You are worth infinitely more than that. God loves you so much that He did not spare His own son. He sent Him as a living sacrifice for all of us.
Ask yourself this. Why do I tie all my worth to some worthless piece of paper when the God of the Universe loves me so much? Why not tie our worth to Him?
He has a great plan for your life, but are you following His plan or are you going off on your own? If you are that could be the root of your problems; financial, relational, and personal.
If you submit to the Lord’s plan for your life, He will provide and you will find your worth in Him, which is much greater than a big house, a nice car, a job that pays a lot of money, and all of the things that we collect.
Join me on Wednesday night, Feb. 12th for a money talk. We will begin at 6:00PM PT, 9:00PM ET. We will talk about how to tie your worth to the Lord, not to money.
