Does anybody go to a school that paddles?

Hi, I just moved to Texas from Vermont a few weeks ago and my parents are enrolling me and my sister in a Christian school in the area. In part of the application there is a form that has to be signed that will give the school permission to use corporal punishment on us. I read the schools policy book and it explains that if certain rules are broken students can get up to 3 spanks with a wooden paddle. Now where I come from this would not be allowed. I am really scared to go to this school now. I was wondering if anybody goes to a school like this and is it bad?

There is a new policy this year, that if you break the dresscode (mainly involves tucking in your shirt) you'll get a paddling.

Welcome to the South. Corporal punishment is a practice that is very rare up north, due to the fairly liberal majority. Lisa, as long as you live a Christ taught, I doubt you'll be meeting that paddle. 8-)

I hope I never get paddled. Just the thought of it is terrifying to me. It must be very painful and embarrassing to have some teacher that you don't really know spanking you with a wooden board. :

hehe if i went to that school i would have no ass left it would be down to the bone...im a bit of a scruff ball :-D ...anyway dont worry about getting spanked!!! or paddled!!! just a) take it with style b) dont do anything wrong ( i personally find this boring as rules were made for the obedience of fools and the guidence of wise men (or women)) c) hit them back (my personal favourite) or d) learn to enjoy it!!! some people do :-? hehe there are my top tips....enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!

well that sucks....oh well it would be funny if a teacher hauled out a paddle from behind her desk and started to hit kids...lol...yeah but just be nice and cool and it wont happen..if it does i bet the teacher will feel bad for hitting kids..

my public school doesn't paddle but the private school that my bro used to attend paddled!!
