Does anyone play sports games?

I'm a 35 year old part-time gamer. My five-year old and I play games on his X-Box like 4x4 racing games, MX racing, 4-wheelers, and mid-town madness games. I also like war-related games like ghost recon and wwii war games. But I've really gotten into (lately) NCAA Football by EA sports and just received the 2005 NHL Hockey, which is still unopened. Does anyone play games like this? and if so, tell me about the hockey game.

Sports games are usually really good, its one type of game that has a great longevity to it as its not story based just competition based (like real life in a way).
I play fight night (boxing), FIFA, Tiger Woods and a couple or rugby/rugby league games. If you want a quick 5 min game these type are often the best to grab.

I wish we could get rugby games here in the US
I played for 4 years and love the sport. I like soccer games too. I didn't think I would like tiger woods golf, but it is the best sports game I have played in a very long time.

my dad and I love the boxing one and there's all the cabella hunt ones but those are sooooo drawn out.

we have one nhl game and the graphics are good but its boring/

Until you've played Civilization 3 online you still aint hit the big leagues this is the most intense, competitive, game online bar none. It's not for everyone, but as far as war simulations, empire building and fighting with or defending against armies goes, its the best! Way better than Age Of Empires! A must play for war gamers! I'm making a scenario for it too now. If anyone would like to host my mod, which should be 10 -15 megs contact me!!

I Thought this Might be a Good Place to Ask a Question, Since it has to do with my Mod. Does anyone have a link, to a picture of Richard Nixon poising with his arms outstretched giving the peace sign, in a good quality color picture that fully ( head to Toe, or close ) represents him. Even a half descent cartoon one or one with Rich Little imitating him, might work. I've been looking all day, you'd think this would be the most common picture of the man, but I'm stumbed. If anyone can help please add a post with the link.

Sports games, love em. NBA Lives, couple of ncaa bball games, Ea's Nascars, Gran Turismo, Midnight Clubs, NFSU, Smackdown, got a Madden, but it's from 99 heh. But got lots of sports games, fighting as well. While I've played hockey games in the past with friends, don't have one myself. Here's a review of it from gamepro though.
