Does being attracted to "gender bender" characters make me gay?

No one is "born gay." Many attempts to prove that this is the case have failed. Twin studies, hormone studies, brain studies, and so on, have all been unable to produce concrete, incontrovertible proof that homosexuality is genetic. This stands to reason, since, if such behavior were genetic, it would have been eradicated from the human gene pool long, long ago. Homosexuals, after all, don't bear children and pass on their "gay genes." Instead, homosexuality is a product of personality, cultural influence, familial experience, demonic deception and often (though, not always) sexual abuse. In other words, ultimately homosexual acts are something one chooses to do rather than is compelled by one's genetics to do.

If you don't want to be entangled in homosexual thought and behavior, don't expose yourself to such perversion. The Bible says that Abraham's brother, Lot, "tormented his righteous soul" merely by being a witness to the evil of the city of Sodom (which was, first and foremost, homosexuality). Don't torment your soul by giving attention to "entertainment" that promotes homosexual evil (or any evil, for that matter).

Psalm 101:3
3 I will set no wicked thing before my eyes...

Philippians 4:8
8 Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.

DoaWK1992, you'll go to hell, not because you do homosexual things, but because you haven't trusted in Christ as your Savior and submitted yourself to him as your Lord. Any sin - lying, pride, gossip, sex outside of marriage, hatred, covetousness, and so on - will make you worthy of hell just as much as homosexuality will.

James 2:10
10 For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles in one point, he has become guilty of all.

Every person needs the saving work of Jesus, they need his atonement for their sin. Anyone who has not trusted in Christ as Savior and Lord, whether straight or homosexual, is going to hell. Have you trusted in Jesus?

Romans 10:9-13
9 ... if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;
10 for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.
11 For the Scripture says, "WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED."
12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, abounding in riches for all who call on Him;
13 for "WHOEVER WILL CALL ON THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL BE SAVED."

John 3:16-18
16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.
18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
