Yes! absolutely. By giving us life. Can a child NOT believe in his father?

Php 2:13 for it is God who worketh in you both to will and to work, for his good pleasure.

Mar 9:24 Straightway the father of the child cried out, and said, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.

Can you prove that Biblically?[/quote:1ajz4ald]

That's a cunning one - changing the OP after the original has been answered!

Yes, in 2 different ways...both directly and indirectly. God will directly inspire us by a gift of faith, or else He will manoeuvre us and situations that will cause us to see...that is, if we're looking. ;)

Notice that Cornelius has posted examples of both types of faith....God's working through us and our own being inspired by Him. :) God's hand reaches down to us and our hand reaches up to Him. :yes

Yes I did. Now please answer my question rather than find ways to dodge it. :yes

Dodge it? Who? Me? John 1:12-13 Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of Godâ€â€children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God.

This scripture tells us those who are born of God (ie given life), are born, not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God. Now, if this is so then the belief that is spoken of in the previous verse cannot be a human decision, but something that is the enablement of the Spirit that now dwells within.

Eph 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God:

Rom 12:3 ¶ For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think [of himself] more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.
Rom 12:4 For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office:
Rom 12:5 So we, [being] many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.
Rom 12:6 Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, [let us prophesy] according to the proportion of faith;

Faith is a gift of God! given to us in measure as God gives so that we have access into His gift of grace by measure according to the faith we have recieved.
