Does God want us barking in Church? May I please have some thoughts on the following video? Thanks and God Bless!

Dude, keep it coming because people who aren't aware this is happening need to know. But please don't take this the wrong way, I can't watch more than 30 seconds of these videos; it grieves my spirit to see this horrible manifestation of what some people see as right worship. :crying

Manifesting demons and calling it God.
The charismatic movement has been sinking in the mire for years, they have been programed not to question their elitist leaders and will blindly follow anything. They are now a full blown cult.

I understand. They are hard to watch. I am posting these videos to let others know of what kind of stuff goes on in some of these Pentecostal/Charismatic Churches.

Demonic is correct, Destiny. It's beyond sickening.

Re: Does God want is barking in Church?

I had heard of this going on, but I had never seen a video. It's kind of embarrassing, to be honest. I would never want to put someone down for how they worship, even if it is a little more "over the top" than I would, but there is nothing Godly about that. Call me naive, but how does howling benefit the kingdom of God? It'll just get us laughed at.... I hate to see them being deceived!

Its already getting us laughed at. Another secular forum I post in has these videos posted there, and the atheist and Muslim members are having a whale of a time. These Christians should be ashamed of themselves. No doubt, countless people have been turned away from Christ by these freak shows.

One of the things that bothers me most about this video is the leashes. I cannot understand what place they have in a place of so-called "worship." The Bible speaks of freedom from bondage. To put a leash on someone who is crawling around acting like a dog is demeaning and bizarre (to put it mildly). I just don't get it. I'm embarrassed by this behavior. Is this really what goes on behind the walls of some churches??

Honestly, if an atheist, unaware that this behavior was not the norm, watched this video and was turned off of religion, I couldn't blame him! What kind of witness are these people? I'm disgusted.

Gabe, you were posting this as I was writing. I totally agree!

I laughed out loud..then I thought, these people actually believe they are worshipping God and filled with the holy spirit. Are they on drugs or something?

:crazy

That has got to be one of the most stupidest things that I have ever seen.

Are they on drugs or something?

Actually the people "on drugs" that I minister to are way more sane than this.... and way more intelligent.... yup, sad to say.

I was an a Pentecostal board re: this matter - some of them got it - some were still open to this being a move of God..... :verysad

I am glad there is at least a basic level of discernment here to what is so manifestly obviously twisted and bizarre - and nothing at all like what you see with Jesus and His Disciples.

BTW - this video is just one of many such bizarre videos of the Pentecostal/Charismatic movement - you should see/hear of the stuff that went on in Lakeland Florida - about the same level with an even more wild preacher who went around knocking people over in the name of Jesus (hmmm... maybe this isn't so unusual - does the name Benny Hinn come to mind??).

Best,
Anth
