Does the Bible teach the sinners prayer?

The only sinners prayer I see in the Bible was where he beat on his chest, and said Have mercy on me a sinner.
He went away more justified than the one with the long prayer.......I'm sure you remember the event.

A sinners prayer, comes from ones heart, not a rite, or form.
Jesus is our personal Savior and our prayer is only heard from a heart that is crying out in truth, and the need of the soul.
