Don't Let The Bedbugs Bite!

I was just wondering whether or not you got them where you live as I just saw a thing popup on my newsfeed that Cleveland (I don't live there by the way, I just live in the state) gets a lot of them.

We have a lot of bedbug outbreaks in this state. Most rental leases have their own policies regarding bed bugs. Usually you sign that you will report bed bugs and must follow what pest control advises or else you are in violation of your lease. I thank God we have not had this issue, it seems so miserable.

Our state is on that list, too. Icky.

Basically it's saying that you have to call a professional exterminator because anything else is not going to work. The EPA has removed all other pesticides from public use. DDT and the other effective chemicals each got removed.

So...
There's no way you can treat this yourself. At best you might get the bugs to scatter but that only spreads the problem. You have to call the exterminator and be sure that he knows what he is coming to treat because the chemicals these days are very specific.

Diatamaceous (sp?) Earth kills bed bugs, and many other pests without the chemicals. It dries them out.

My bed has no bugs. Just the occasional spider that tries to sit down beside me. (That doesn't last very long)
