Don't Warm That Truck Up

I was ticked off when they stated putting doughnut tires in cars. Saying that it was to save space. They did not want to spend the money so they cut corners.

I'm too young to remember when they started that. I remember when I worked on older cars they all had full size spares.my ranger had one.I uses to rotate the oldest tire to it when replacing them.I also put my older tires from nissan on that

And on top of that Jason the doughnut tire is only designed to go about 50 miles or so. So supposed you are in Nevada and the next gas station is a 100 miles and the road is blazing hot.

I have a 1997 Ford F-150 with 164,000 miles on it.
I turn the key and drive away all the time.
It's in mint condition except in need of a paint job.

I have worked on a car that literally had all four tires as spares. I got rid of my do nought after I ruined a rim.so I got one from the boneyard and put a new rim on the truck too.

I think they should as they already mandate other things a full spare.

This is mandated for safety on top of the light colors,type of brakes,seat belts eyc

Tpms,abs,srs,cell phone controls in that you can't text while driving or voice to text?
