I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine.
(Joh 17:9)

Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;
(Joh 17:20)

In verse 9, Jesus is praying for those with Him right then.
In verse 20, Jesus is praying for those elect in the future who will come to faith through reading the Bible. They are the "other sheep not of this fold" Jesus talked about.
