Doubt, fear, and confusion

Too many here are full of doubt, fear, and confusion about their salvation. That is the same state the unsaved are in. Faith is from God, doubt is from the devil. So trying to re-enforce your doubt by enticing others to agree with you will only increase your doubt and decrease your faith. You are also trying to increase the doubt in others and it will work to those except the elect because they are rooted in the Holy Spirit which is stronger than the devil.

So many here can continue to try to earn God's love instead of giving it back to him which the Spirit enables us to do. But it won't do a thing. "For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guitly of breaking all of it." And since we will all stumble, those who concentrate on works are up the creek without a paddle. But the elect do have a paddle and it is Christ's death on the cross which is the only place from which our salvation comes. Thanks be to God!
