No, and I would be careful as how you resolve your experience. There was a woman woken by a mountain lion that crashed through her bedroom window and landed in her bed.

Edward, what if you think you're dreaming, you are really flying, and then wake up a thousand feet in the air having no idea how to flap your arms up and down fast enough to keep you airborne? In sheer necessity you may revert back to a dinosaur, quickly evolve to an eagle, and then soar into the side of a mountain instead of straight out falling to the earth.
I don't flap my arms in my flying dreams. At first, I had to run and jump into the wind and ride air currents to gain altitude. Riding the ridges and warm updrafts like the gliders do. Lots of flying near the ground in these dreams. In these dreams I held my arms straight down at my sides. In later dreams I could just take off like superman and the wind was inconsequential. My arms out front, Superman style in these dreams! In the last couple flying dreams I've had, I could take off from a standstill straight up like Neo did in the Matrix movie. I flew all the way up to space a few times. Sometimes in these flying dreams, I was actually a flying instructor to a group of people and would teach them to keep up by trying intentionally to lose them by zig-zagging and stuff. I went and hid from the class on the edge of space just to mess with them and then followed them a little while watching them look for me. I was far above them, lol!
Some other variations on these flying dreams were...in one dream, Jesus was teaching me to fly. (!!!), He grabbed my by my ankles and we were flying tandem while He talked and teached me about flying. (How to land on peoples roofs without making noise and disturbing them, lol!) That was a very cool dream! In another dream I was caught up in a tornado/whirlwind and worked my way to the top of it and was riding it, but not controlling it. Funny thing about this dream was the storm below, but sunshine and blue skies at the top of it where I was riding it. In this dream, I remember only coming out of the top of it down to my waist but not further, for fear of falling off the top of it...that was a little scary but I knew that if I stayed at the top that I would be safe because I was above the storm.

except at the top you don't go round and round but can hold in a particular direction and the funnel cloud swirls below. I love flying dreams! I can't wait until we'll be able to fly!
