Jesus is either Lord of all, or not at all. Only unconditional surrender recieves mercy from the Lord.

Ezek 18:31Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will ye die, O house of Israel?

Jerem 3:10And yet for all this her treacherous sister Judah hath not turned unto me with her whole heart, but feignedly, saith the LORD.

Rev{3:15} I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. {3:16} So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

We either repent of all, or not at all. Lukewarm repentance is rejected as unrepentance.

Mar 8:34And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it.

Eph 2:12That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.

2Co 5:17Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;

1Jo 1:5This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

We either repent of all our old life without Christ, or we have no new life with Christ. Gray repentance is rejected as darkness.

Gal 2:20I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

Gal 2:20I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

Col 2:10And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power: In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:

Col 2:12Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.

Either the old man is crucified unto death on our own cross, or we are not dead and buried with Christ at all.

He died on the cross for our sake, we must die on our own cross for His sake. He that died on His cross for all our sins and trespasses, likewise by His resurrection victory, He commands all His enemies everywhere to die on their own cross to all their sins and trespasses.

He is Lord of all, or not at all. We repent of all for His sake, or not at all for His mercy' sake. Uncopnditional surrender to the risen Lord of Lords, is the only way made to come to Him in mercy, forgiveness, salvation, and justification from all old sins and trespasses.

Ezek 18:31Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will ye die, O house of Israel?

Acts{17:30} And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:

Acts 3:19Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;

2 Cor 7:10For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.

There is the gospel of partial gradual repentance at one's own faith and will alone, and there is the gospel of repentance from all sins and trespasses according to the Scriptures.

The gospel of Jesus Christ commanded by God, is the gospel of repentance unto salvation and justification unto good works following. Man's own religion is any gospel of faith with salvation and justification unto repentance with good and bad works following.

So long as our own lust and will to sin is alive, then our old man is still kicking, even if bruised, battered, maimed, or made lame on a cross of our choosing.

Mal 1:13Ye said also, Behold, what a weariness is it! and ye have snuffed at it, saith the LORD of hosts; and ye brought that which was torn, and the lame, and the sick; thus ye brought an offering: should I accept this of your hand? saith the LORD.

1 Thess{5:22} Abstain from all appearance of evil. {5:23} And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and [I pray God] your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. {5:24} Faithful [is] he that calleth you, who also will do it.

1Co 6:11And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
