Eli Manning Haircut Dream



Eli and Payton Manning have shown up at my house, Eli is there to give me a haircut. Eli and Payton start moving things out of a chair for me to sit in for the haircut. There is a man we have that is sleeping on our couch under a blanket and we can't get him off the couch. Eli grabs the man and they start wrestling. Eli says to the man, "You are a Christian aren't you?!" They are grappling in the floor as we watch and I tell the man, "You know who you are wrestling with don't you!?" The man does not reply but there is a blanket still over his face as they wrestle. I say , "You are wrestling with Eli Manning!" and the man said. "You are kidding!" Now the man is standing up and more agreeable about getting off the couch. End of Dream.

What is that about?

Hopefully Eli will begin to use his influence to bring many to Christ.

Once people see that Eli is a Christian and promoting the Gospel, they will “come out from darkness” and stop wrestling with God.


Eli could represent a new movement among sports celebrities that God is going to use in this season to influence this young generation for Christ.

The haircut could represent their ministry to help men “clean up”

I have a young brother I have been talking to in private, and I believe you take his place in this dream, in what's called a transference dream. You yourself actually are in the dream as well, because I believe the two Manning brothers are you and I. They both have an established presence, and they exchange a regular diet of humor, mostly because of Peyton, who I think represents you.

But this dream is all about image, and this young brother is coming up in the things of God. He is receiving dreams that are directing his life, so it is as if his spiritual image (both of himself and in the eyes of others) keeps getting better. But he has spoken to me about some friends he has who are growing with him in Bible studies, and he has been using some of mine. By all accounts they are enjoying them, but my guess is there may be one brother among them (or who will join them) "in his house" who is spiritually asleep. I have been notifying him that I am humble, but truth be known I am no ordinary teacher of the word of God, so I believe the interpretation may be that by telling him the truth of who I am in Christ, he may in turn tell this friend who is asleep, who as a result begins to take things - including the studies - more seriously. He will still be hiding his face somewhat, meaning he will not be someone who has an image to be proud of in Christ just yet, but as my young friend may remind him saying, "You are a Christian aren't you!," he will begin to awaken himself from slumber and begin to put on Christ and change his image.

That's my guess.
