[Who Me]

In a discussion based on his book Sacred Marriage, Gary Thomas describes how God uses marriage to make us holy, not just happy.

There is an error. It is not part of God's plan for us to ' make us happy! '

If that is in your mind about Christianity or about marriage then you are heading for a problem.

Happiness can be found but it is in relation to our service, obedience and worship of God.
In marriage it is not the husband or the wife's duty to make one happy.
As with Christianity we will find it in our service to our spouse and as we work together.

We are a partnership, not a totaltarian state serving only one spouse!

Loose that form of thinking.
