One of our teachers 500yr ago told us students that science believes that the world will end: get messed up, destroyed, fail etc by whatever that would bring about the end.
He compares it to this biblical perspective on this issue. And the science ignorantly are predicting the bible. How correct is he?
 
I have no idea who you are talking about, but next you'll be telling me of some big bang?
With the accumulated wealth of scientific knowledge, the untold provision of funds and effort put forth to prevent disaster, and on top of that tools to measure as never before, science has yet to forecast the weather. I was to have rain yesterday, but not one drop that I'm aware of. How are they going to predict something they know even less of?
