Do we all as Christians have equal access to GOD? Why would some want others to pray for them or to intercede with GOD on their behalf?
Yet there are times I felt more comfortable when someone helped me on a particular problem. does it mean some are better off with Him....?

I know we have more access to Him when we are His children. unbelievers have limited access...if they have at all - unless they believe. but for Christians seeking prayer warriors, vissioneers and such stuff.... hmmmmmmmm
 
Matthew 5:19 AMP says that you have Christians here on earth that are considered the least in the Kingdom of Heaven and some that are called great in the Kingdom of Heaven.

It is always good to get God's point of view first from other mature Christians. Jesus will always send help so that you may prosper in every way (that your body) may keep well, even as (I know) your soul keeps well and prospers. 3 John 1:2 AMP
