Has anyone here read Eragon, or the sequel, Eldest? I read Eragon and just loved it. Eldest wasn't anything amazing, but I can't wait for book 3!
It's basically about a teen that discovers a dragon egg and a becomes a dragon rider, and learns magic and a whole bunch of other stuff. I know it sounds like the basic "dragon" book, but it's really quite amazing how good this book is! Christopher Paolini (author) went very in depth - making dwarf language, ancient language, etc. - almost like J.R.R. Tolkien (well not that far, but yeah
). Overall great read! Also a clean book unless you don't approve of the magic aspect - barely any cussing and no 'adult' scenes (well a small one in Eldest).
