Err On The Side Of LOVE.

It's impossible for we humans to always "get it right" with regard to the
precise balance between LOVE and Justified Harshness. But err on the side
of LOVE. Strongly emphasize such things as:
■ God wants all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
■ There is Hope for all men.
■ Second chances for all people. Give'em second chances.
■ Forgiveness. Be forgiving in heart. Forgive people.
■ Never curse the darkness, instead light at least one candle.
■ Do at least one thing every day to make the world a better place.
■ The Father's LOVE principle within the parable of The Prodigal Son.
■ Restoration for poor fallen human beings.
■ Redemption as the Hope for the worst of men.
■ Judge not and you will not be judged, said the Lord Jesus.
■ Condemn not and you will not be condemned, said the Lord Jesus.
■ Forgive and you will be forgiven, said the Lord Jesus.
■ Exercise patience with poor fallen human beings.
■ Remember God dealt with you in Mercy and Grace.
■ Leave judgment and condemnation in the hands of Almighty God.
■ Pray for all men that God in His Mercy and Grace will save them.
■ "Be completely humble and gentle, be patient, bearing with one another in love." Gal. 4:2
The End.

I wrote a lot of that up there to my grown children this morning in the Notes app on my iphone
sitting in church listening to the pastor preach. I was able to both listen to him and to write
down those thoughts.

Best.

Really like this and thank you for sharing. None of us are perfect falling short at times, but we know we have a loving God full of mercy and grace that is always there to pick us up when we mess up. It's when we are truthful with our self is when we see our imperfections and take them before the Lord to help us with our stupid selves.
