This article I have here effectively states that the statistics, while convincing sounding, is just not there.
On a side note here, I noticed that in our science forum that some people, atheists in particular, debate the sacred cow of evolution while sneering at the idea of creationism. They stress ad nauseum that true science is repeatable and verifiable unlike the so-called fables of the bible.
Yet.... The very same branch of science that comes up with evolution seems to not practice what they preach and are themselves driven by ideologies and agendas, certainly not repeatable and verifiable when it comes to medicine. In short, if someone's going to accuse creationism as a flip, then stay consistent and don't adhere to a so-called "scientific" method equally guilty. In that case, it has nothing to do with science, but a covert excuse to side with an ideology with academic-sounding mantra to back it up (like a politician with good words). This is why I have no problem scrapping evolution if the medical establishment can't get something like cholesterol right, I can't trust them or biological sciences for anything.
