Evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. 2 Timothy 3:13.

Why do false prophets/false teachers, not realize, all the words of scripture describing/revealing, what those false teachers, teach, means they are only false against themselves. ( they cant harm anyone else.)

They fear not God, they afflict those who are at peace, they speak words softer than butter, but war is in their heart, their words are like oil, but they are really, drawn swords.

God gave so much testimony about the talebearer, and how to cease their strife. ( forum debate)

The contentious man wont stop passing on fire, to kindle strife.

But their burning lips, reveal their wicked heart, they hate and pretend with their lips, ( text on forums.) and lay up deceit within them, they speak fair, and we are to not believe them (at all) as seven abominations are in their heart.

That hatred is covered by deceit, their wickedness is shown to all.

They dig pits but fall into them, what they do, returns to them. The lying tongue hates those they afflict, ( daily by it on forums) and the flattering mouth works ruin. ( not good for anyone, the debates/contentions they say were in the Epistles, are their false claim and excuses.)

Psalm 55:19 God shall hear, and afflict them, even he that abideth of old. Selah. Because they have no changes, therefore they fear not God.
20 He hath put forth his hands against such as be at peace with him: he hath broken his covenant.
21 The words of his mouth were smoother than butter, but war was in his heart: his words were softer than oil, yet were they drawn swords.

Proverbs 26:20 Where no wood is, there the fire goeth out: so where there is no talebearer, the strife ceaseth.
21 As coals are to burning coals, and wood to fire; so is a contentious man to kindle strife.
22 The words of a talebearer are as wounds, and they go down into the innermost parts of the belly.
23 Burning lips and a wicked heart are like a potsherd covered with silver dross.
24 He that hateth dissembleth with his lips, and layeth up deceit within him;
25 When he speaketh fair, believe him not: for there are seven abominations in his heart.
26 Whose hatred is covered by deceit, his wickedness shall be shewed before the whole congregation.
27 Whoso diggeth a pit shall fall therein: and he that rolleth a stone, it will return upon him.
28 A lying tongue hateth those that are afflicted by it; and a flattering mouth worketh ruin.

The Kingdom of God is not in word, ( the flattering hateful word of the talebearer) not puffed up, ( in their prideful contention. Proverbs 13:10.)

The power of God is not the rod ( sword) which the flatterers bring, but the Spirit of meekness in love, is the Kingdom of God.

The works of the flesh they never cease and excuse as of Christ, are, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envy. The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, meekness, the law is against the daily, forum strife makers.

The tongue is a fire, do thy show any restraint in their iniquity, ( they claim contention is godliness.) and their whole body is seen as defiled, ( we do not ned to see what else they do in life, the tongue ( text) has condemned them already.

But it is told, woe to them, they perish in gainsaying, they feast with you, ( on the forums daily) they feed thmselves, ( not anyone else) without fear, they are without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots.

These unjust, are reserved to the day of judgement to be punished, ( that is why they wont hear this warning, and ignore all of these revelations on the forums right now.)

They are presumptuous, self willed, not afraid to speak evil, of dignity.

1 Corinthians 4:19 But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord will, and will know, not the speech of them which are puffed up, but the power.
20 For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.
21 What will ye? shall I come unto you with a rod, or in love, and in the spirit of meekness?

Galatians 5:19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

James 3:6 And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.
7 For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind:
8 But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.

Jude 1:11 Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.
12 These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;

2 Peter 2:9 The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:
10 But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities.

Well, let them have their strife/perverse disputes of men, let them bring in damnable heresies, let them speak only great swelling words of vanity, and let them be seen to never speak about all the doing, that Christ did, that the Apostles did, that all believers did, to have treasure in Heaven, let their treasure be only earthly, and the forum is where they tried, from early until late, all these years, to have their treasure.

They have no shame in any of this on their forum, they foam out their own shame as warned...

Matthew 6:19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:
20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:
21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

Jude 1:13 Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.

All workers of iniquity/ungodliness, will be cut off soon, it is the same as the thorns, they stab, but they are only good to be gathered and burned. They wont stop for one second their strife/debate on their forum, but they are only thorns and briers, it is a cursing, to be cut off burned and destroyed. ( what other good did their years of contention bring/serve.)

Psalm 92:7 When the wicked spring as the grass, and when all the workers of iniquity do flourish; it is that they shall be destroyed for ever:

Hebrews 6:8 But that which beareth thorns and briers is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing; whose end is to be burned.

2 Peter 2:14 Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children:
15 Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;

Hi gordon777

Another of Paul's prophecies that give us fair and ample warning how bad this existence will become as we march inexorably into the day of His glorious and fearful judgment. I'm only 67, but I can't think of a time in my lifetime that represents those words more than today. But the question ultimately is "how bad will it get?" As the list of sin and rebellion that Paul warns us is coming in his opening letter to the Roman believers, to now this warning to Timothy of the great increase in deceptions. How bad will this get and how quickly will the flood of the end rise up? 20 years? 100 years? For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now—and never to be equaled again.

God bless,
Ted

It is written,

1Th 2:1, For yourselves, brethren, know our entrance in unto you, that it was not in vain:
1Th 2:2, But even after that we had suffered before, and were shamefully entreated, as ye know, at Philippi, we were bold in our God to speak unto you the gospel of God with much contention.

It should be clear that when the gospel is truly preached, there will be opposition from the enemy; and therefore what gordon777 is speaking of will be prevalent in the conversation; what he determines to be strife and debate is what Jude calls "contending for the faith" (Jude 1:3-4).

It is written also,

1Co 11:18, For first of all, when ye come together in the church, I hear that there be divisions among you; and I partly believe it.
1Co 11:19, For there must be also heresies among you, that they which are approved may be made manifest among you.

Here Paul tells us that contentions and divisions are unavoidable and that heresies will appear so that those who are approved of the Lord may successfully combat them and thus show themselves approved.

However, there is a necessary contending that must occur in order for heresies to be combated successfully.

It is only the devil and his ilk who would desire to have a a platform free of such contending. Because in such a platform, he might be able to tell his lies unhindered by those who might contend with him over doctrine and therefore shed truth on the lies that he is telling.

Of course, I think that the virtue that gordon777 is looking for, if we consider the true thing that the Holy Spirit also desires to happen because of his posts, is that those ministers who contend with heretics might do so with gentleness and respect and also in the spirit of meekness (1 Peter 3:15, 2 Timothy 2:24-25).
