Do you pray to God directly or should we only do that through JESUS?

John 14:6:
Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and
the life. No one comes to the Father except through ME.

At times I unconsciously pray directly to GOD. At other times I do this by saying: In JESUS Name before and after a prayer.

CHRIST made it clear that we should pray through HIM. Is it a wrong practice when we consciously or unconsciously pray to the FATHER??? :dunno :shrug :confused

I always pray to Jesus... I'm not a trinitarian, so there is no need for me to pray to the Father or to the HG.... I pray to Jesus who is God. In Eph 1 (last verse of that chapter... v 22 or 23) Jesus is called "him that filleth all in all." For those who feel they have a need to pray to the Father and the HG (and then to Jesus), I don't have a problem with that... I just believe with good reason and scripture that the prayer will get through just as quick if not more so through Jesus.

Well, when Stephen was stoned in Acts 7:59, he prayed directly to Jesus, however I always pray to the Father through Jesus.
