We are no longer Israelites, so unless the prohibitions can be supported by Jesus' doctrine, we don't need to follow them. Do you trim the hair on your temples, or trim your beard?

It's an Old Testament rule that no longer applies.

I'm pretty sure 1st Century Jews didn't wear turbans. And Acts 18:18 shows that they did cut their hair.

We could if we chose to, but Leviticus is not necessarily prescriptive for followers of Christ. If you can find in Jesus' doctrine grooming standards, then follow them. If any grooming standards you choose to follow coincide with those that Islamists demand, then you might want to reevaluate their value in the sight of God.

In the 60's some of us had long hair we even used the excuse that Jesus had long hair.. but i somehow didn't really feel comfortable about that.. when i read this i understood why..

We each look at tattoo's in a different light, first it is only in the old testament, which we as Christians today do not
live by the OT. second it says do not cut or mark your self for a dead person. Now one could take that to mean it is
bad only when done for the remembrance of the dead and other reasons are ok to have tattoo. Also one could say
I got my tattoo before I found the Lord and got saved and I have been forgiven for it or them if they are actually a sin.
Im in the latter.

what fabric is there in the clothes you wear? If you want to live by OT rules, you need to pay attention to details: Mixed fabrics are not allowed. ...and, as others have said, they are OT rules, not for us

Tattoos have a pagan origin and a worldly connection. When you think of biker gangs you think of tattoos. So tattoos do not glorify God, but they glorify criminals.
