Genesis5:
1 This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him;
2 Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.
3 And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth:

So is this GOD explaining how he created man and woman?
Did God call Both man and woman Adam.And what happened to Eve?
Did GOD in the Bible cretae Homosexuals called Adam
Is the Bbile The true word of GOD if so pls explain this
:angel:

The NIV has it as

When God created man, he made him in the likeness of God. 2 He created them male and female and blessed them. And when they were created, he called them "man. [a] "

[a] Hebrew adam

So it sounds like a translation issue. Adamah meant earth, so Adam implies a man made from earth. (Other useless trivia: Homo comes from the Roman word for man which came from Humus which meant earth as well.)

Here is my take on the Genesis account. I believe that when the Hebrews were separated and some went to Egypt and some went to Babylon as slaves, that they split their origin story. When they later reunited and people were composing the Bible, they had two creation accounts. So they placed them one after the next. You can see this technique in other places of the Bible. (Most noticably in the story of the talking donkey.) See Religious Tolerance for a good article on this.

However, literalists want there to just be one story. The Jews decided that the first creation story was about Adam and Lilith. Lilith wanted to be equal to man and expressed it by not wanting to be on bottom during sex. She left Adam and Eden. God sent some angels after her, but she stood her gorund and ended up giving birth to many demons.

So God then made Eve as a replacement. Eve seems to come from the Sumerian mythology. In it, Eden seems to come from the word edinu, which means plain or steppe. Enki eats some divine plants in the mystical garden called Dilmun. He is cursed with death. But a god takes pity and decided to heal him with 8 women. The woman created to heal his rib is called Ninti. Eve's name in its original semitic form is Hawah, which means life. Ninti has a double meaning as "lady of life" or "lay or the rib."

Anyway, that is the secular response. I am sure it is not what religions people will say.
