Family Filter

Hi. I hope that I am posting in the right place.

I would like to talk about the filter I installed on my computer. It is called B-Safe Online, and it is wonderful. Anything questionable is filtered out, such as....myspace, any site with gambling, and of course pornography.

It gives me more comfort about having a pc with internet in my home. I want my children to have access to the pc without being damaged; and a filter these days is essential, if you ask me.

How many children do you have and what are their ages?

I have five sons and they are aged 11 to 25. The son that would have been 25 this year is with Jesus Christ awaiting the resurrection of his body. When I see him, he will ask me what took me so long! :D

How does the filter work?

Let's say you have a child in High School who is doing a report on breast cancer.. will the filter allow you to go to the CDC or the American Cancer Society website?

I suppose it would depend on the age of child.

For example, myspace in and of itself is not bad - rather it is what people chose to do with it. The youth group at our church uses it to communicate youth group activities.
