Dear prayer partners of this forum, I just received the following prayer requests that has really touched my heart all occurring in one family. Father, please have mercy and grace on this family in their time of need in Jesus’ name. Amen.

I have a few prayer requests to put before the saints.

The first is for my cousin Shirley who is in her early 70's and is in the hospital recovering from a stroke. She has been moved from ICU into a regular room and she is getting better but she is about to go through rehab and really needs the Lord to come in for her.

The second prayer request is for my cousin Bobby who recently turned 70. He just found out yesterday that he has Lou Gehrig's disease. A few months ago he took a big fall and fractured his eye socket and it appears this was caused by the disease.

Third, I would like to pray for my cousin Judy, Bobby's wife, who on top of being there for her husband is also Shirley's sister and is currently raising her grandchildren as her daughter has recently gotten into drugs through her current boyfriend.

This brings me to my last request which is for my cousin Shawna who is now addicted to drugs. I do not know which drugs she is using but as a former smoker, I know that God is more than able to bring her to the place of overcoming this addiction.

This part of my family is obviously experiencing some great needs but none of these, alone or altogether, are greater than our Lord. So let us look to and believe him for his perfect will to be shown through each of these situations.

Prayers will continue for Shirley, Bobby, Judy, Shawna, and everyone affected, including you, my friend. Prayers also for the medical & physical therapy teams. May our Lord touch their hearts so they will all lovingly welcome Him in their lives.

Lord, I'm praying for Shirley, Bobby, Judy, Shawna and everyone affected, including you Eugene. Lord Eugene is a great man, he has helped me through my difficult times and without Eugene I still would be lost. Thank you Lord for sending Eugene to counseling me. I don't know how could I ever pay Eugene back, what he did for me but at the very least, I can pray on behalf of Eugene's prayers come to light. I'm praying for you to reveal yourself to Shirley, Bobby, Judy and Shawna and send someone to counsel them like you sent Eugene for me. Amen :pray

(I had to use Google Translate a bit, so I am not sure that does some of those sentences making sense)

Thank you Brother Ben for your prayers, and your kind comments. Your English is coming along fine, and I know of a fact that translator programs leave much to be desired at times. Love you brother in Jesus' name. :)
