FASTING

Hi guys, I just wanted to know what u guys thought about fasting for the lord. I was watching a prays and worship ch. on TV and thy were all about fasting, giving, and praying. I understand the soeing of a seed, but when u have a labor job how can u go with out food.

Fasting is a great way to get your focus ajusted. But if you're gonna fast, make sure you can do it in a manner that is not annouceing the fast to the entire world. 8-)

Fasting doesn't necessarily have to be from food.

One could fast from something which is taking time away from the Lord... T.V., video games, music, etc.

Xian, Biblically speaking, fasting was going with out food. Now we stretch the definition to cover just about anything, but fasting originally inclined food. Webster's would agree.
