Father forgive them....

Here is an interesting comparison....I was thinking about this when reading the High Priest thread on the other forum....

Jesus said......

Mat 5:39 But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.

and....

Luk 23:34 Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.

Paul said....

Act 23:2 And the high priest Ananias commanded them that stood by him to smite him on the mouth.

Act 23:3 Then said Paul unto him, God shall smite thee, [thou] whited wall: for sittest thou to judge me after the law, and commandest me to be smitten contrary to the law?

Funny, Jesus askes for their forgiveness, Paul asks for their condemnation.

Did Paul say he would smite them or did he say God would? Did Jesus say God would not smite the wicked?

Not the point Johny....it was the intent of vengeful thought....you see it on the forums as well...

You were asked to stop the anti Paul topics and posts. You agreed.

I will lay off Paul as you ask (to give you peace)

You haven't held up your end of the deal.

Look Paul's writings are the inspired Word of God. It was ok for you to disagree for a while but it has got out of hand, this is a Christian forum, and you can poison the minds of some not to well rooted Christians, and that will not be tolerated. We take Paul's work as the inspired Word of God, and we will promote his work here, so please stop this anti Paul stuff, at once.
