Hi my name is Lou and my family needs prayers as I am about to go through a difficult time in my life.

My wife Kate is being deployed to Afganistan and I worry for my four children, my heart breaks for them and my wife has not even left yet. Please pray for my wifes saftey.

Also I work 12 hour shifts at night and am trying to get my company to move me to a day position so I can keep them in day care and continue to work. I will not work nights while she is gone because it will be like having both of us gone.

My income is a little over half of our household income....are soldiers do not get paid enuff imho. The company I work for is under union laws so they can not just move me to days. I am looking for a volunteer to switch with me or a new job all together.

Please pray for me to remember to put my faith in the lord. I all to often try to take over and it does not work out unless I give it to the lord.

Most of all please pray for my children as 3 of them are 5 and under and will not be able to understand where their Mommy is for 6 months to a year.

Thank You
Lou

Also I would ask for us all to pray for the many children who are without one or both parents because of military deployment or any other reason.

This is the Day that the Lord has made; we shall rejoice & be glad in it

I've prayed for you Lou. I hope that God makes all of his grace abound toward you and blesses you with his merciful provision.

Never loose sight of the truth of these verses:

"And He [God] has said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.'" (2 Corinthians 12:9)

"And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed." (2 Corinthians 9:8)

"And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. " (Phil 4:19)

"If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give what is good to those who ask Him." (Matthew 7:11)

Step out in faith and ask God for help, for grace, and present your requests to God so that you will not be anxious and instead at peace.

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. " (Phillipains 4:6)

God Bless,

~Josh
