I am really not into Christian fantasy but I read a book once by Karen Hancock called "Arena".It was pretty good.

I wrote The Chosen One because my tweener daughter was starting to go nuts over all things Harry Potter and I wanted Christians (especially girls) to have an alternative. It's definitely young adult rather than juvenile and I think it's pretty good. It's on Amazon; check out the sample chapter if you get a chance and tell me what you think. I could use the feedback.
