Does anyone have a favorite missionary they like to read about or keep track of?

Paul Washer without a doubt

One of my favourites is Bruce Olsen who is known as Bruchko by his adopted tribe. He became a missionary at the age of 19, by buying the cheapest plane ticket he could get to South America. He ended up in the Amazon jungle, and was the first person to ever make contact with a certain cannibalistic tribe and live to tell about it. The neat thing is that he didn't know it was this infamous tribe that he was living with for a long time. After almost ending up as their lunch for several months, and then almost dying because of sickness, he learned their language and told them the story of Jesus and now the tribe is almost 100 % converted. But not only are they Christians, they are actually disciples, learning and growing in their faith! The Lord really had his hand on Bruchko's experiences there, it is an amazing and quick read. I read the book in two days!

Not sure you would call him a missionary.....though that could have been one way to look at him in biblical times....but Paul.

I would classify Paul as a missionary for sure. He paved the way for the Gospel throughout all the surrounding countries of his region.

:clap Yaay Paul!
