ohhhh! I just saw crab!!! Man! I'm crazy over crab! I ate so much crab a few weeks ago I was sick for days! :o

My favorite is whatever the Lord puts on the table for the day.

But when it's broiled lobster mmmmmmmm! I only have that once or twice a year. because after I'm done eating it I'm reminded that it's nothing but a giant sea bug. : But man oh man..... smothered in melted butter! yummy! I love sea food. and steak, and ribs, and chicken and a really good juicy fat hamburger.... and beans, oh yeah.... rice, and, oh sorry, those aren't meats, but mixed together they are the vegetarians hamburger. :wink:

I have a sweet tooth. so I love bakery! and candy too! Why can't that be considered a meat! :x

But really, I love whatever is on the table for the day...... Thank you God for that much! :-D

Jeff, that must be an awfully humbling experience to slaughter your own food and then eat it. Wow!

My mom told me her father used to raise rabbits and she hated eating rabbits because she hated seeing those what were once cute little things on her dinner plate. That was way back in the late 20's early 30's when she was child. Do your children have that same problem?

Ohh Relic,
We don’t slaughter our own. I just don’t have it in me and I have a hard time intentionally squishing bugs. I was a pitiful sight with our first pig. I called her Pork Chop so I wouldn’t get attached… (she was a good pig and would roll over to get her belly scratched) I about embarrassed my neighbor who was an old farmer (he helped me deliver her to the butcher in his truck) because I left Pork Chop a bowl of water and a food as a last meal at the slaughter house. Hate to say it, but I had a lump in my throat when I left…

As far as the kids, they don’t ask anymore because they know were not going to tell them the truth. Everything we eat is store bought and it’s either chicken or beef lol! (except the oldest knows the difference between duck and chicken now…)

Speaking of food though, man am I hungry! I feel like a Cinnamon roll!
