Feds keeping people sick: the Vitamin D Story

The article has to do with vitamin D, but the doctor who wrote it seems that she thinks like I do..... it only takes one person (like me) who is right and recognizes the truth. Here's an excerpt of what I mean:

During a lecture at Cal Tech, he said, “Let’s be clear: The work of science has nothing whatever to do with consensus. Consensus is the business of politics. Science, on the contrary, requires only one investigator who happens to be right. … The greatest scientists in history are great precisely because they broke with the consensus.â€
The medical community has always been subject to “group-think,†but in recent decades we have become the leaders. Numerous physician-scientists have been ostracized, defrocked, de-licensed and in some cases driven to self-destruction by a medical community that has embraced consensus in science.

Seems like I've been the victim of "are you a doctor?" syndrome. :lol In other words, I was so-called wrong because I don't follow the sheep, er, I mean the crowd who all "have to be right" (there would not be so many wrong, now would there??)

This is true.. The lack of vitamins even in the fruits and veggies at the grocery store is startling. "they" want us to be sick, and we let them make us sick. People think I'm crazy because I don't trust the government. It's so corrupt it's ridiculous, and it all ties together.

I see you're fairly new. Welcome, at least from me. You are correct. If you look at my profile, you see that "I am not a Christian". Actually, I am. At least I consider myself that but not by mainline standards. I am tired of my people at church dying of cancer, and heart disease and whatnot and believe the devil's lie of the medical establishment feeding them pills, pills and more pills and they don't live any longer, but oh, the statistics say they do!

I'm tired of the cause of Christ (Yeshua) being disgraced by this delusion and I constantly warn....but I guess I'm just a "conspiracy theorist" and some sort of nut. Problem is...... those who would correct the likes of me to become like them always have prayer requests for healing (and maybe end up dying) but I am so healthy I haven't been to the doctor in years, but I'm the one in so-called error.

Geeeez.... Now I know what the OT prophets endured. :toofunny

Haha!

Thanks for the welcome, it's wonderful to run into one of the few who care about this!

Well, questioning authority is frowned upon. Especially when they are big wigs, like the food industry.

I had worked on a 'what if' story that had a similar premise to Red Dawn, but WWII and nutrition was used as a weapon for genocide.

Yeah, just read some of my other posts in this health area, particularly about food. That will make your day. :lol

Man I couldnt agree more.

Several years ago I was an EMT,and of course right out of the gate was curious about everything. It didnt take long to notice that most of our elderly patients, particularly those from nursing homes, always had the huge bag of drugs..sometimes as many as 20 bottles of meds (or more) all of which had to be taken in precise doses every day. After some reading in a physicians desk reference along the way a trend seemed to emerge.

Of course drugs primarily address symptoms and do little to nothing for the actual problem. And always come with 1 to multiple side effects. To address the side effects of a prescribed med, another med is prescribed which of course also has its own side effects which sometimes are made worse by that particular drug combination. After extensive reading,it just seemed to me that after the first few meds, anything additional was purely for the purpose of trying to juggle side effects.Ill freely admit that Im not a pharmacology expert nor am I a physician so there could be some rationale at work that I wasnt aware of.

Provided that assumption is correct,it makes me wonder why doctors continue to perpetuate the cycle and why natural cures are frowned upon, sometimes even outright banned by the FDA and other federal agencies despite evidence that they work.Kevin Trudeau talked about this at length in his book "Natural Cures They Dont Want You To Know About." He discusses some of the shady practices of the FDA and how, amusingly enough, how some of the pharmaceutical companies have "donated" funds to it.Also detailed is how the FDA defines various things that seem to,by design, exclude anything but pharmaceutical products from being prescribed to "cure" an ailment. It was an interesting read, and talked about many things that we saw quite regularly.

Watching these commercials pushing pills for, well, everything and then listing off the possible side effects ... makes me twitch, mightly. Not enough eyelashes (serioiusly!) take this pill with this mile long list of possible side effects, including possibly changing your blue eyes brown. Why? :P

I've recently decided to change doctors. I went to mine earlier in 2012 'cause my knees are rather bad (too many years in the military) and she took a look, took an x-ray, and said here take these pain pills. Needless to say I declined the pain pills. And started doctor shopping. <sigh>

Does anyone know of a good way to find doctors in your area who lean toward the natural side of medicine?

Just "google" the type of natural doctor you want. I'm sure they are out there advertising in your area somewhere. Also, join a natural health forum which may give you insight of other people's experience.

As for me, I go to neither. I've been blessed enough not to get sick primarily because no matter what I "have" I never believe I'm sick even if they tell me I am sick. In time, I get better without the drugs and other stuff. I just take care of myself.

My doctor is a wonderful lady. And she is quick to prescribe drugs, steroids - anything you want.
But we have become friends... and she has told me, "I can't tell most patients to eat better, quick smoking, exercise and sleep 8 hours a night. They usually react with something like: YOU ARE THE DOCTOR, DO YOUR JOB AND FIX THIS!"

My point is that many, many doctors would be happy to prescribe non-drug answers to your problems.

I think you hit upon a very important point here. I can tell when I'm watching an American channel because of all the drug and insurance commercials. I think it gets into peoples' heads that all they need is the right prescription for their problem and they'll be cured. That and people just don't want to wait anymore. We're a microwave society and we feel everything should be quick and simple.

People want to eat their cake and have it too. Exercise is difficult, especially forming a habit of exercise, as is changing one's eating habits. Many people don't properly take care of themselves and eat a lot of processed foods, junk foods, and fast foods. When the problems pile up, it is so much easier to go to the doctor to get that magic pill which will make it all better, then it is to change oneself for the better.

I have to take vitamins as I get older. Like we all do. But so far, never been sick with Vitamin D!

Greetings and welcome!

Yes, so true. Vitamin D is that dirty little secret. There's been studies to suggest that it is more effective than the flu vaccine. Of course they will find reasons to claim the studies were flawed unless the shoe was on the other (pharmaceutical/medical) foot where they are trying to push the vaccine, then if they had similar results would probably be all over the news.

What I find is ironic is that even medical people will push vitamin D. Why is that when they rather deplete it with cholesterol pills and flu shots so that we are all sicker? The only thing I noticed is that they push it under the guise of truth, but then dummy it down by recommending small doses that basically does nothing. Much of false doctrine in Christianity is that way as well. Just enough truth is fed to have the air of orthodoxy, so that nobody can criticize, but then error is introduced to achieve whatever ends they want--- a "cover up". That's what I figure whether I'm right or not.

Good point!
