Some may have trouble with this.
Rev 20:6-9
6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years.
7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.
9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.
(KJV)
At the first part of the chapter, we're told those saints that reign with Jesus for that thousand years there are those that were beheaded for Christ, and those that refused to worship the beast, nor took the mark of the beast. Also, we're told they live with Christ (per Christ's promise of John 14 to receive His saints to where He is). Verse 9 shows just where Christ and His elect kings and preists will reign from, on the earth (per Christ's promise of Rev.5:8-10).
At the end of that thousand years period, Satan is loosed and his host army goes "up on the breadth of the earth" where that "camp of the saints" and "beloved city" is to attack it. Then God rains fire down from Heaven to destroy Satan's host.
This means, Christ will be on the earth with His elect priests and kings when Satan comes up against that "camp of the saints". So how is it, that God rains fire down from Heaven to destroy Satan's host then?
Questions that might help on that would be, when our Lord Jesus came the first time to earth to be crucified, where was The Father then? And after Jesus was raised from the dead, and appeared to His disciples for 40 days, where was The Father then?
