I spend a lot of time on this site from my phone, and I've always found Opera Mobile to be the most functional mobile browser for it. Now, I've recently switched my phone with Sprint from the HTC Evo Shift to the Samsung Galaxy S3. Since the internal memory can support the large data load that Firefox Mobile uses, I've tried to assimilate to it.
I can't use Tapatalk, because some functions I need as admin aren't accessible. Firefox Mobile seems like it has a lot of potential, but I'm running into glitches that make it unusable. I hope someone here has found fixes for them.
The zoom is in consistent. Some sections remain extremely tiny and unreadable, even when I double tap, and there's no setting for % zoom. If I try to zoom in manually with the "pinch out", it explodes to an enormous size so that only a few words fit on a line. Also, while entering a post, the cursor flits around and I can't continue typing.
Does anyone else use Firefox Mobile? Have you experienced similar problems? Did you find ways around them? If you use a phone and don't use Tapatalk, which browser do you use?
