I figured since this may have been something at everyone's New Year's eve celebration, I'd ask a question with regards to Chex Mix.

Hmmm...someone's been snackin' ;)

I voted for rye chips because there's only one option, but really it is a tie between rye chips, bagel chips, and the squares :yes ...yummm

I have this super size tupperware container and I'll buy a bag of each flavor and mix them all up together, and the family loves it over a good game of scrabble. And yes Tim, a big phat icey juicey Cherry Pepsi! :pepsi And I have been missing my green tea :nag Need to get back on them green teas!!!! Makes me feel better!!! Cause nothings worse is when you drink a Pepsi and then you can't burp!! And the harder you try, the worse it gets, then comes the hot lava up the throat!! :halo

That's such a great idea. I got do that next time. do they have a spicy chex mix??? they definatley need to make a spicy chex mix

ephesus..........They have hot and spicy, bold, sweet and salty, original, cheddar, party mix, etc. etc. but your favorite spice can be added to a homemade batch. I have friends that make the chex mix for Christmass of the chocolate cereal, and strawberry, and cinnamin and apple mixes covered in carmel or powder sugar and they are really awesome.

But they have all kinds of recipes for the chex cereals transformed into snack mixes. Just a few minutes in the oven, add peanuts, cashews, pecans, with pretzels. I have a friend that adds peanut butter chips (4/cookies)and peanuts to the chocolate chex cereal and you talk about addictive!!! But according to your taste, you can really whip up some good concoctions with the chex cereals, and little imagination. You can take taco seasoning on multi-grain chex cereals, add some (according to your tongue) crushed dried peppers, peanuts, pretzels, crunchy chees-tos, and BAM! You got spicy chex mix, it all depends on your taste buds!!!

But experiment with the chex cereals for deserts and snack mixes.

I really like the Jalapeno and Cheddar, Bold, and Peanut Butter.

Like your atavar Misfit, saw that on the news and I about fell out laughing myself stupid. That's frustration now big time, to throw your shoes at the President of the United States. That's about like me throwing my TV brick at the television at those stinkin commercials. It's a piece of foam rubber painted up to look like a real brick....I love it. Now without being thrown in jail for assaulting the President of the United States, I would love to throw my brick at him.....there's been those times!

I've even thrown it at my husband when he decides to wear his smarty pants with me. And I freaked out some friends one time when he was really being a hemroid in teasing me, and I got up with my brick and told him I had enough and went up side his head with it, and of course he went with it....holding his head...and saying baby you got to take me to the hospital, I believe you really cut me deep this time. They went white and started wiggin, and then Bear let them know by throwing it at them, that it was a piece of foam rubber painted like a brick, and then they laughed themselves stupid, and the next time we went over their house....they had one!!

Thanks! It's also a quote from the Movie "Austin Powers" one of the bad guys throws a shoe at Austin and he replies with, "Who throws a shoe honestly." Good stuff it just fits soooo well. I think my wife would like a brick like that too, but I wouldn't she'd never stop throwing it at me. :lol
