Rev 20:4-6
4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
These verses are speaking of those who are murderd by the beast for following Jesus.
The kingdom (land of Israel )that today is ruled by the beast(the Israeli goverment)will be given to those saints during the millinium .'
Daniel 7;27
And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him..
Those same saints who recieve the kingdom(promised land)shall still be there at the end of the milliniuum too.
Rev 20;9
And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city;and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.
As for where Jesus is during thos 1000 years ,I have not come to any conclusion.
I believe he will dwell in the New Jerusalem which descends down out of heaven after that 1000 years has been fofilled.
