hey all. i wanted to pop in quickly to ask you all to pray for a member of my secular mummies forum (http://www.birth.com.au/forum) she has been banned, and i suspect it has to do with her stalking and attacking of me on my Christian forum i also post in (http://www.gush.com.au). she is a new member there as "sinfull sister" and yesterday caused a lot of heartache ( i believe quite deliberately ) in an (rather successful to be honest) attempt to hurt my feelings.

I have forgiven her for her actions, and she has apologized but my dillemma here is this:

in coming to said forum and abusing me the way she did, a lot of my friends there have posted defending me and were very upset at me being attacked like that, the trouble is in their emotion and haste to come to my aid, they have been a little reactive and un-Christ-like and i am afraid what could have turned out to be a positive whitnessing opportunity has turned into digging a bigger hole for Christians in her eyes...

I would just like to ask you all to pray that some good comes of this and that maybe she will hang around the Christian forum out of curiosity and maybe might even come to learn something....

I felt the need to put out a call to prayer for this lady who is clearly being challenged and "moved" by the spirit, and that she may find some new light and maybe even come to know Jesus Christ as her personal friend and saviour.

I have personally whitnessed many occasions where God can take a terrible situation and turn it around for His good and perfect plans... let us pray that this is one of those times.

In Christ,
-Amy.

i would appreciate any advice / tips on what i could say to turn this around for the better? (via PM perhaps would be best)

I just quickly looked at the link and the 1st couple of threads posts of the 1st page, a lot has been deleted but it sounded like she was just hurting, not really attacking you but your beliefs', something as you said has pricked her conscience and I will pray for her that the Holy Spirit will continue to work in her, softening her heart.

It is sad that people with good intentions do things quickly and did not see she was hurting and needed loving then. It does hurt our witness when Christians don't speak to others especially non christians in a Jesus like, gracious loving way and choose to go down the route of just loving arguments and proving themselves right - so sad to see, it was good to see them apologise, as she may see them in a more 'Christ-like' way again.

The only thing you can do is to make clear to her and the forum that you don't want retaliation/ unloving words and just maybe your witness in this can be the final thing to push her to Christ - as she sees how you respond is so the opposite way any 'normal person' would respond - love and open arms to her hate and closed hand punches.
throughout the bible it is full of passages of how we are to treat non Christians - full of gentleness in our manner when standing up for Christ, graciousness and above all love.

I applaud you for your good witness and will pray for her that through this she will see Christ in you and others.

UPDATE...............
