For the Love of Money

move over Gary..
at 6:30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?
Mat 6:31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
Mat 6:32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
Mat 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Mat 6:34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

I would have no use for any of that stuff.

Okay, my love of money thread is showing the true colors of my brothers and sisters here on the forum.
God bless you all.

I honestly do not recall ever asking God for more money.

Come on, tell the truth, who wants more money?
I'm not sure. I don't really think about this question. I feel comfortable right now and actually have at times felt like I am too comfortable. Lately I've been going through a phase where I am feeling frustrated because I feel we have too much "stuff." Every time my wife buys me a new shirt or pair of pants, I want to just tell her to return them. Truth be told, I don't really have that much but I still keep getting these feelings. So, maybe I really do have too much?

I have to admit that I could live in a house half the size of the one I now occupy.

To be honest, I would prefer to live in a house about half the size we now have. Especially now that our children have moved on. I have always preferred smaller homes. Ours isn't super large by today's American standard either. It's 1-1/2 stories and about 1,800 sq. ft.

1,800 square feet is not that big.I used to live in a home over 3,000 square feet.It was a nightmare to clean.
