she made a big thanksgiving meal. only her son actually showed up (but at least he did, right? right...). the no shows haven't been so great to verna over the years, especially since her beloved husband passed away, so...there's that, too.

the more she talks, the more I think...maybe me talking to her a good bit is really, truly good for both of us. a genuine ministry, a 2 way friendship, a...blessing, for both of us. I'm increasingly thankful.

but...yeah...the thanksgiving thing...not a good thing, at all. it hurt me to hear about it, honestly. that bad. :-(

please keep verna up in prayer, y'all.

Two way friendships are definitely good for both people. You and Verna are both comfortable on confusing In each other, that is precious. Verna is in my prayers.
